Barbara A. Webber
About
Barbara A. Webber is an experienced attorney with more than 30 years of practice in family and probate law. Known for her compassion, honesty, and dedication to her clients, Barbara takes pride in helping families navigate some of life’s most difficult challenges with understanding and fairness.
A lifelong resident of Lorain, Ohio, Barbara was inspired to pursue a career in family law by her grandfather and father, both of whom served as Domestic Relations Judges in Lorain County. After earning her degree from Kent State University and her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (now Cleveland State University College of Law), she opened her own private practice, where she served clients for three decades. She also worked in the Child Support Division of the Lorain County Prosecutor’s Office, further deepening her experience in family-related legal matters.
Barbara approaches every case with empathy and candor. She believes in truly listening to her clients, caring about their concerns, and being honest about what is and isn’t achievable. Her goal is always to help clients find the best path forward.
Outside of her legal work, Barbara has been actively involved in her community. She has served as President of the Lorain Democratic Women’s Club and held leadership roles in the Parent Teacher Organization, Cub Scouts, the Lorain German American Club, and the Brookside Band Boosters. She also organized women’s events at the Vermilion Boat Club.
Barbara lives in Lorain with her husband and is the proud mother of three adult children.
